Compulsory health insurance will cover HIV-PrEP medication under certain conditions from 1 July 2024.
So that you too can benefit from the offer, we will be a participating centre in the Swiss PrEPared study from July. Further information: www.swissprepared.ch.
You don’t have to do anything to be covered by your health insurance: Book an appointment for an initial consultation (doctor’s appointment mandatory) or a follow-up and we will discuss the next steps with you.
It will still be possible to pay for PrEP medication (1 pack CHF 50) and follow-up checks (CHF 185) in cash.
